Invite families and approve their requests
Email the adults on each record, and approve families who ask to follow a wrestler.
Invite the adults on the roster
- 1Open Roster and tick the wrestlers whose families you want to invite.
- 2Choose Invite guardians.
- 3ScoreOps emails every adult address on each record: the guardian email and every address under Other contacts. The email names the wrestler's first name and your team, nothing else.
- 4When a parent signs up with that same address, they are linked to the wrestler automatically. There is nothing for you to approve.
Approve families who ask
- 1A family whose address is not on the record can ask to follow a wrestler from the app.
- 2Their request appears on Roster under Families waiting, with the relationship they gave.
- 3Choose Approve if you know them, or Decline.
- 4Approving lets them see that wrestler's results and say whether the wrestler is coming to each practice and meet.
Good to know
ScoreOps never emails a wrestler to ask them to create an account. An address that was invited in the last week is skipped, so a repeat press does not flood a parent's inbox.
Only a guardian can confirm that an athlete answers for themselves, under This athlete can answer for themselves on the wrestler's record.
