Invite staff and choose permissions

Give your assistants and table workers the access they need, and change or end it when that changes.

Invite your coaches and scorekeepers · 0:51, with captions. The teams and wrestlers in it are fictional.

Invite someone

  1. 1Open Coaches & staff in your team workspace (Staff & access in a league) and choose Invite staff.
  2. 2Pick a role. On a team, a Scorekeeper runs match day, can fix results, and adds and edits wrestlers, but not family emails or contacts, staff, settings or billing. In a league, a Scorekeeper does meet-day scoring only. An Admin can do everything except own the billing.
  3. 3Add their email to have ScoreOps send the invitation. Only that address can accept it.
  4. 4Choose how long the invite stays open: 7, 14 or 30 days.
  5. 5Choose Create invite link. With no email, you get a link to send yourself, and anyone who has it can join in that role.

Pending invites

  1. 1Every invite waits under Pending invites until someone accepts it.
  2. 2Copy link, Resend the email, or Revoke an invite you no longer need.
  3. 3When they accept, they appear on the staff list with the role you chose.

Change someone's role

  1. 1Find the person on Coaches & staff (tap them on a phone). In a league, open the ⋯ beside them on Staff & access.
  2. 2Choose Make admin or Make scorekeeper, and confirm. It changes at once, with no new invite.
On a team, only the owner changes or removes another admin. In a league, the owner can change anyone and an admin can change scorekeepers.

Remove someone

  1. 1On a team, choose Remove beside the person (Remove from this team on a phone). In a league, choose Remove from the league in their ⋯.
  2. 2Confirm. They lose access to the workspace at once, and their ScoreOps account stays theirs.

Seats and security

Each team and league has 5 staff places: every Admin, Scorekeeper and open invite takes one, and the owner doesn't. Revoking an invite or removing someone frees a place.
Never share an owner login. Send a link with no email only to the person it is for, revoke invites you no longer need, and remove people promptly when they stop helping. For one meet, a table link from the desk lets a volunteer score a mat without an account or a staff place.
