Understand roles and permissions
What owners, admins and Scorekeepers can do, and how to find out why a button is off.
A team's roles
Owner: everything, including billing. A team has one owner, who hands it over with Transfer in Team settings.
Admin: everything except owning the billing: the roster, the schedule, league membership, staff, the public page and settings.
Scorekeeper: runs match day (scoring, the schedule and fixing results) and adds and edits wrestlers. Not family emails or contacts, staff, settings or billing.
Coaches & staff, League membership, Public page & news, Activity and Team settings are only for owners and admins.
A league's roles
Admins run the season: teams, rosters, the schedule and staff. A Scorekeeper does meet-day scoring only. On a league dual, league admins can also fix results, and once a finished dual's 48 hours are up they're the only ones who can.
Volunteers and tournaments
A table link lets a volunteer score one mat with no account. A tournament's director and co-directors run its desk with their own sign-in. Neither takes a staff place.
When an action is unavailable
- 1Check the workspace's name at the top of the sidebar.
- 2Check the meet or event belongs to that workspace.
- 3Some buttons that are off have Why? beside them: it says why, and who can. In Help, ask why you can't do something and choose Check this one.
- 4Ask an owner or admin whether your role should change.
- 5Contact support once the workspace and role are right and it still won't let you.
