Athlete name requests
A parent or guardian, or an athlete who is 13 or older, can ask for the athlete's name to be shown as a first name and last initial, or hidden, on ScoreOps public pages.
What happens
- Results stay, the name is replaced. Matches and team scores remain part of the record; the athlete's name shows as you choose.
- ScoreOps acts within 5 business days. You get an email confirming the request and the date.
- The team's coaches are told, so they can change it on their roster sooner. They see your name and how you're connected to the athlete, not your email.
- We may write back to confirm a detail before we change anything.
